Emelie Tahan Agia peacefully entered eternal happiness on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 after a brief illness. She was a long time resident of Wayne, NJ.
Born in Paterson, Emelie was the beloved wife of Joseph M. Agia and cherished mother to Dr. Gary Agia, Patricia Fattell, Barabara Fierravanti and Michael Agia. She was a loving Sito, having been blessed with 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Emelie was a dedicated member of St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church in Woodland Park, having served as a Religious Education teacher for many years, ladies society member, and very active parishioner.
Family will receive friends at St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church 802 Rifle Camp Road in Woodland Park, NJ on Friday August 3rd from 4-7PM. with a funeral liturgy at 7PM. Burial will be at Franklin Lakes Cemetery at 11AM on Saturday August 4th. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Emelie’s name to the Melkite Bishop’s Fund or the Charitable Society of St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church.
