Victor R Kattak

Victor R Kattak 81of Wayne passed away on Sunday December 24th with his wife Elizabeth by his side.
He was born in Paterson but spent most of his life in Clifton before moving to Wayne in 1989.
He was the son of Najeeb and Souad Kattak,. the 12th of their 13 children and is survived by his sister
Florence Kattak.
Victor was a graduate of Clifton high school and received both his Bachelors and Master Degrees in
Business Administration from Farleigh Dickinson University.
He was an Army Veteran and a member of the John Raad Post
Upon Discharge Victor started his career with Mobil Chemical as a salesman. He went on to pursue his
career in the healthcare field at Martland Hospital, Saint Francis and Saint Michaels as part of the
Regional Medical Program. In 1976 he became the Executive Director of the Passaic County Preakness
Hospital where he worked for 25 years until his retirement.
Victor enjoyed Golf, Traveling and spending winters at his home in Naples Florida.
He was predeceased by his late wife Joan Capowski.
He leaves behind his Wife Elizabeth nee Natterer. Stepson Brian Palestis and wife Meghan. Stepson Paul
Palestis and wife Alexandra. Gido to Connor, Caitlin and Daniela Palestis.
Uncle Vic to many loving Nieces and Nephews.
