Carol Ann Britten-Brennan (Dec. 20, 1938-Nov. 25, 2022) passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones early Friday morning. Carol is survived by her five daughters (Erin Pollin, Kelly Ludwig, Sharon Brennan, Eileen Bori, and Patricia Lusk), four son-in-laws (Larry, Vince, Bill and Michael), twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Born in Jersey City, N.J. to Rita and Arthur Britten, Carol, the eldest of three, settled in Fanwood, N.J. to raise her family. A strong, dedicated worker, Carol held a variety of jobs in the service industry to support and raise her girls as a single mother. She loved tending to her gardens, winning poker games, and crocheting ware for others. A lover of pets, Carol enjoyed dancing to her favorite artists Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, and The Beatles. But above all else, she cherished most the moments spent smiling and laughing with her loved ones. Carol will be missed beyond measure, but her legacy lives on in the countless hearts she touched with her wit, kindness, and affection.
