Obituary

Diane Decker, 72, of Union, NJ passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, December 14th.

Diane grew up in Kearny. After graduating from Kearny High School, she began her career at Prudential Insurance, before taking a position at Bell Telephone (now Verizon), where she eventually met her husband.

She was an avid photography buff, and the unofficial family archivist.

She is survived by her husband John Balz, her brothers William (and his wife Dara of Wayne) and Charles (and his wife Janet) of Spring Lake Heights, her nieces Mary Saige Decker of Montclair, Shaylyn Decker of Elizaville, NY, Jilyan Decker of Philadelphia, PA, and her nephew Alex of Philadelphia, PA, and two grandnieces, Willamina Kabakci and Summer Raue.

Her service is Saturday 12-18-21 at 11am at the Chapel in Rosehill Crematory Chapel.  In Linden NJ.  792 east edgar rd Linden NJ 07036 is the best address to use for GPS
