James Cantisano Obituary

James Thomas Cantisano, 64, of Budd Lake, New Jersey passed away on November 18, 2023,
after a long, 10-year battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. James was born in Paterson,
New Jersey and grew up in Totowa, New Jersey before marrying his love, Kathleen (née Potts),
and moving to Lincoln Park, New Jersey. They lived there until 1999, when they moved to
Ledgewood, New Jersey.

For 25 years, James had worked at PSE&G, making many friendships and connections along
the way. Outside of work, James dedicated himself to coaching little league baseball and
football for his sons, and always watching and cheering for the New York Giants and New York
Yankees. He loved taking family vacations to the Jersey Shore as well as to the Caribbean
Islands, and Jim was a huge dog lover.

James is survived by his loving wife Kathleen Potts Cantisano of 41 years, his son Christopher
Cantisano and his wife Haley and their son Carter, his son Craig Cantisano and his fiancée Katy
Hildebrand, his loving mother, Yvonne Cantisano, and his brother Robert Cantisano and his
partner Glenn Buonamano, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. James
is predeceased by his father, the late James Cantisano.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of America in Jim’s
