Obituary

John L. Yabroudy, of Clifton, passed away on December 20, 2021 surrounded in love by his family at a very proud 96 years old. John was born on February 6, 1925 in Damascus, Syria. After immigrating to the United States with his parents, John graduated from Paterson’s Central High School. John served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II.  He was a jack-of-all-trades being an electrician, painter, mechanic, chef, or whatever else anyone needed him to be. John was a huge sports fan and loved the racetrack. He loved pizza, hot dogs, and dessert.  One of his greatest accomplishments was teaching his grandchildren about working hard, never giving up, and that nothing is more important than family.  John was preceded in death by his wife Marie, sister Rita, brother Tom, and son-in-law Vinnie. He is survived by his brother Raymond Yabroudy; daughters Rita Magliarditi, Reggie Ajia, and Donna McCluskey; grandchildren Juliann DeLallo, Louis Magliarditi, Lori McCluskey, Joey Ajia, and Jason McCluskey; and great-grandchildren Anthony and Adriana DeLallo, Gianna Magliarditi, and Ava and Nico Ajia.

All services will be held at St. Ann’s Church at 802 Rifle Camp Road in Woodland Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm and a funeral service will be held at 10am on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
